  • The Brief

    Elevate Building Co. (EBC) needed a professional, trustworthy brand identity to position them as a quality construction partner. The goal was to visually convey their commitment to turning client visions into reality. Key deliverables included a modern logo, a cohesive visual system, the tagline, and essential business stationery and marketing assets.

  • The Solution
    1. Logo & Identity: A bold, professional logotype (EBC) was created, featuring a stylised house/roof icon cleverly integrated into the 'E' to represent their core business and the concept of "elevating." The primary colours are Deep Blue (for trust and stability) and crisp White.
    2. Messaging: The tagline "Envision. Build. Create." was developed to clearly articulate their process and mission.
    3. Application: A comprehensive suite of materials was designed, including business cards, invoices, and construction banners, all utilising the high-contrast branding for maximum visibility and professionalism. Digital templates were also created to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all online platforms.

     

    Result: A strong, consistent, and quality-focused brand identity that positions EBC as a premier partner in construction.

My Design Process

This section acts as the first chapter in the brand story, detailing the crucial strategic and conceptual work that informed the final identity. To ensure the Elevate Building Co. brand was built on a solid, meaningful foundation, I approached the initial phase with deep ideation and research.

 

Presented here, you will see the evolution of the brand from abstract ideas to tangible concepts:

  1. Moodboard & Visual Direction: A curation of images, textures, and typography defining the desired aesthetic. The aim was to capture a blend of trustworthy stability (dark, rich tones) and modern, aspirational quality (clean lines, architectural photography).
  2. Keyword Mind Map: The strategic core of the brand. This map outlines the key traits that EBC needed to project (e.g., Integrity, Precision, Aspiration, Quality, Elevation), ensuring every design choice connects back to the core values.
  3. Potential Slogans/Taglines: Exploration of various verbal identities to land on the concise and action-oriented "Envision. Build. Create."
  4. Initial Concept Drafts: A selection of raw logo sketches and digital drafts, demonstrating the rigorous process of exploring various forms for the initials 'EBC' and integrating the abstract 'home' icon. This phase highlights my commitment to generating a breadth of ideas before committing to the final direction.

This structured approach guaranteed the final logo and visual identity were not just aesthetically pleasing, but were strategic solutions to the client's business objectives.
